Valero Energy Partners LP Increases Quarterly Cash Distribution by 5.2 Percent

SAN ANTONIO, April 20, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Board of Directors of Valero Energy Partners GP LLC, the general partner of Valero Energy Partners LP (NYSE:VLP) (the Partnership), has approved the Partnership’s first quarter 2017 cash distribution of $0.4275 per unit.  This distribution represents a 5.2 percent increase over the Partnership’s previous quarterly distribution.  The distribution is payable on May 11, 2017 to unitholders of record at the close of business on May 2, 2017. This release serves as qualified notice to brokers and nominees as provided for under Treasury Regulation Section 1.1446-4(b)(4) and (d).  Please note that 100 percent of Valero Energy Partners LP’s distributions to foreign investors are attributable to income that is effectively connected with a United States trade or business.  Accordingly, all of Valero Energy Partners LP’s distributions to foreign investors are subject to federal income tax withholding at the highest effective tax rate for individuals or corporations, as applicable.
