For those who like their food hot and spicy or love Chocolate, you’ll be pleased to hear that the University will be hosting the Bath Chilli and Chocolate Festival this weekend.
Bath’s fourth Chilli Festival takes place on campus this Saturday and Sunday
The event, now in its 4th year, is being organised by University of Bath staff and is supporting the Alzheimers Society.
New this year is the added theme of Chocolate to tempt your tastebuds even further.
The festival site (located between the Chancellors’ building and Lime Tree refectory) will include a festival market with over 50 traders selling a diverse range of chilli and chocolate products from condiments to sauces, to artisan Chocolate and many other tasty treats.
There will be live music, a Curry competition (Saturday) a Chilli con carne cookoff (Sunday), entertainment for the younger ones (including a 40ft obstacle course, face painting, clown/magician, competitions) as well as talks on the cultivation of chillies and chilli science and much more.
