The School of Human and Social Sciences held a psychology conference last week for those interested in studying psychology at degree level, as well as members of the teaching community.
The conference was engineered to complement the AQA Psychology syllabus and included four talks on the following:
Overall we had 47 students and staff attend the event. It was a great day and feedback was positive.
It was interesting to hear about a variety of different types of psychology in one afternoon.
I’ve gained a deeper insight into the effects of stress and domestic violence. I didn’t realise how important gender roles may be in particular behaviours.
