Research has shown that taking a regular nap each day can offer a number of health benefits. From just twenty minutes a day, you can help improve your memory, lower your blood pressure and achieve a better focus throughout the rest of your day!
Sport and Recreation are trialing napping tasters on Wednesday 19 July and welcome all staff (members and non-members) to come and try it out!

Lights in the studio will be dimmed and the temperature adjusted to suit
Yoga matts and blocks will be available for you to use
Please bring a small blanket or towel if you wish
No need to get changed into athletic kit – just wear something you’re happy to nap in
Once everyone is settled, our instructor will begin the session and you will be encouraged to relax, close your eyes, and take a little nap.
You will be left, unguided and uninterrupted in this state for 20 minutes.
At the end of the session, the instructor will return to awake you.
