31 August 2017
Location: The Francis Crick Institute, 1 Midland Road, London, NW1 1AT
Time: 14:00 – 15:30
Inspired by The Francis Crick Institute’s first major public
exhibition, Open for
Discovery, we’re running a series of free art-science
workshops that explore the world of scientific discovery.
Investigate how our scientists are re-thinking research to help shape the future of human health by making your very own handmade zoetrope, a device that changes multiple still images into an animation.
Led by award-winning Medical Artist Merlin Strangeway with the support of Crick researchers, the workshops are free to attend and open to adults and families. We recommend the workshops are suitable for children aged 6 and over.
Places are limited and must be booked in advance via Eventbrite.
More dates will be announced mid-July. Additional workshops will also be offered to community groups from Somers Town.
